Pillows for the People

Snake Jagger came to us last week and asked if we could produce pillows with his artwork printed on them with the same quality as Fine Art America was providing to him.  Snake Jagger is one of the Hi-Desert’s most renowned local artists and has a rich life experience history from which he draws for his paintings.  I had always wanted to print my photography on decorative pillows.  Having a Fine Art America store myself, I knew pillows were both popular and could be produced through the process of dye sublimation printing, which Innovus Print shop does.  I thought it would be a great addition to the Innovus Print Shop product line.

We had printed some other items for Snake including T-Shirts, an 85-page auto-biography and his full-color art book for the upcoming Hwy 62 Open Studio Art Tours.  Adding pillows for him was a natural progression.

Over the weekend I went to a fabric store (or two), bought a sewing machine, some invisible zippers and thread and set about my task today.  I called on a good friend who knows everything there is to know about sewing and we produced the pillow pictured below, now available as a product printed by Innovus Print Shop.

  1. Saw these last night at the Yucca Valley Chamber Mixer and they were wonderful! Need to send to my kids living out of the area, to remind them of home.
